Enforcement Framework
When content or behavior violates our policies, we follow a structured, graduated process. Every enforcement decision is logged, reviewable, and appealable.
Last updated: February 2026Enforcement Tiers
We use a four-tier system. More severe violations start at higher tiers. Context, intent, and history are considered in every decision.
Tier 1: Warning
Content is removed. The creator receives a notice explaining the violation. No strike is issued. Account features remain fully available.
Tier 2: Strike
Content is removed. A strike is added to the account. Monetization may be paused. The creator can appeal within 30 days.
Tier 3: Temporary Suspension
Three active strikes trigger a 7â30 day suspension. Upload, comment, live-stream, and Shop access is revoked. Monetization is paused.
Tier 4: Permanent Ban
Reserved for: CSAM, terrorism, credible violence threats, repeated severe violations. Account is permanently removed. A final appeal is available within 30 days.
How Violations Are Detected
Strike Lifecycle
- Active period: Strikes remain active for 90 days from the date of issuance.
- Expiration: After 90 days with no new violations, a strike is automatically deactivated.
- Accumulation: If three strikes are active simultaneously, temporary suspension is triggered.
- Reset on appeal: If an appeal is approved, the strike is removed immediately.
Immediate Actions (No Warning)
Certain violations bypass the warning tier entirely due to their severity:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) â Immediate permanent ban + law enforcement referral
- Terrorist content â Immediate removal + potential ban
- Credible violence threats â Immediate removal + law enforcement referral
- Non-consensual intimate imagery â Immediate removal + strike
- Doxxing with imminent risk â Immediate removal + strike
Enforcement on Live Content
Live streams are subject to real-time enforcement:
- Policy violations can result in the live stream being terminated immediately.
- A strike is issued for the violation that caused termination.
- Repeat live-stream violations may result in permanent revocation of live-streaming privileges.
